HIGHLIGHTS: Seljalandsfoss & Skogafoss Waterfalls, Vik village, Solheimajökull Glacier, Reynisfjara Shore.

We’ll pick you up between 8:30-9 and start driving south on Highway 1. On the way we’ll stop to look at the Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss waterfalls and you can see in the distance the volcanic glacier Eyjafjallajökull which erupted in 2010.

 

Our next destination is the charming town of Vik, where we will have lunch and visit the local wool shop. We’ll make our return trip along the coastline and past a black sandy beach called Reynisfjara. Here we can get close to basaltic rock pillars. Finally, we will head to the glacier Sólheimajökull, which you can reach out and touch.
