ITINERARY

  • DAY 1: Arrive in Prague, Overnight in 4-Star Hotel

  • DAY 2: Take a guided walking tour to the old town square, Staromestke Namesti, see the astronomical clock, visit the Jewish Quarter of Josefov, see the Charles Bridge, national theatre and more. Refresh yourself at the oldest pub in Prague, U Fleku, established in 1499. Overnight in 4-Star Hotel.

  • DAY 3: Visit the Prague castle, St. George’s Basilica and St. Vitus Cathedral. Transfer to a UNESCO heritage site, the medieval Bohemian city of Cesky Krumlov and its Italian Rennaissance Castle.

  • DAY 4: After breakfast we will transfer to another medieval town in the South Bohemian region, Trebon, which was established in the middle of the 12th century. After a leisurely walk through the old town center, we will transfer to a third historical town, Trebic for the night.

  • DAY 5: After breakfast, we will take a tour through Trebic, seeing the UNESCO World Heritage Site of St. Procopius Basilica and the Jewish Quarter. After the tour, we will visit the caves of the Moravian Karst (Moravsky kras) National Park. Overnight in Brno.

  • DAY 6: After breakfast we will depart to Slovakia, and on our way visit Trencin and it’s castle on the massive rock that was the Northeast destination of Julias Caesar. The castle was an important residence of Matus Cak and was built in the 14th century. In the afternoon, we will take an easy hiking tour of Janosikov Diery, located in Slovak cottage in Zazriva where you can enjoy a spa and hot tub.

  • DAY 7: After breakfast we will visit the famous fairytale castle in Bojnice. Overnight in Zazriva cottage.

  • DAY 8: We will transfer to Vlkolinec, a folk village hidden in the mountains and UNESCO Heritage site. Enjoy a traditional lunch at a sheep farm, where you will have the opportunity to taste traditional Slovak meals. After lunch we will descend into the ice cave in Demanovska Valley, then take a cable car to Lomnicky Peak, where you’ll enjoy the scenery of the High Tatras mountain range. 

  • DAY 9: We will spend this day in the east of Slovakia, visiting landmarks such as the Spis Castle, the largest castle in Central Europe, as well as the UNESCO heritage towns of Levoca with the famous alter of Master Pavol, and Bardejov. 

  • DAY 10: After breakfast we will transfer to the popular Baths town of Piestany and then on to Pezinok for a wine tour of the most celebrated Slovak wines. Next we will travel to the Slovak capital of Bratislava where you will be able to tour the city by a vintage train and see landmarks such as the old theatre, Hviezdoslav Square, Town Hall and the Bratislava castle amongst others. Finally we will board for a relaxing boatride to Vienna and will overnight in a 4-star hotel.

  • DAY 11: We will start with a walking tour of Vienna’s historic backbone, engaging with the relics of the Habsburg Empire’s 640-year rule, with highlights including Stephansplatz, the Opera House, Hofburg, Parliament and City Hall, stopping in the city center to savor the an authentic chocolate Viennese Sacher Torte. We can arrange a classical Mozart at your request. Overnight in Vienna 4-star hotel.

  • DAY 12: The day begins with a visit to the nearby Schonbrunn castle, it’s Baroque palace and gardens having been in possession of the Habsburgs for centuries, remain largely in their original historical condition. Optional tours include. Depart for the airport.
