ITINERARY

  • DAY 1: We will pick you up from your hotel or airport for a tour of Bratislava by a vintage train along its historic railways. Next we will journey to Modra celebrated for its Majolica pottery. We will end the evening at the wine cellar of Pezinok Castle where they have a collection of the 100 best wines of Slovakia. Overnight in Presidential Chateau Topolcianky.

  • DAY 3: We will visit The National Stud Farm Topolcianky, one of the most important horse breeding centers in Europe. Next we’ll explore the beautiful oak forests around the nearby Renaissance castle. Finally we’ll transfer to the UNESCO heritage town of Banska Stiavnica and tour the old mining museum. Overnight in Banska Stiavnica.

  • DAY 4: After breakfast we will head to Vlkolinec where we will visit this unique UNESCO heritage site–an original folk village hidden in the mountains. Next we’ll descend into the ice cave in Demanovska Valley, and then take a cable car up to Lomnicky peak, where you’ll enjoy the scenery of the world-famous High Tatras mountain range. Overnight in High Tatras.

  • DAY 5: After breakfast you’ll journey to Slovakia’s north, where you’ll visit the famous “Nosferatu” Orava castle, which was built in the 13th-century upon an enormous rock above the river. From there immerse yourself in one of Slovakia’s Skanzen, or open-air museums, where you’ll learn about the region’s earliest cultures, customs, and architecture. You’ll end the day relaxing at the hotel spa and pool. Overnight in Zazriva.

  • DAY 6: After breakfast, transfer back to hotel or airport.
